The Granada Golf Course is now open. Granada is 7,169 yards from the back tees and 5,056 from the front. It is a Par 72 Championship Course, designed by Tom Clark of Ault, Clark & Associates in Maryland and built by United Golf Course Construction of Oklahoma.
The course includes a putting green, chipping green and expansive driving range. The fairways are Tifsport Bermuda grass, the roughs are Tifsport Bermuda and Myer Zoysia has been sodded around the greens and greenside bunkers. The greens themselves are a mixture of L-93 and Crenshaw bent grasses.
"We've incorporated many unique design elements into the final product including waste bunkers, a double green (on No. 11), native/wildflower areas, and a cascading waterfall complex on Hole No. 18," Clark said.
The clubhouse is located atop a hill offering panoramic views of the Ouachita Mountains and the waterfall the lines the left side of the 18th fairway.
